Extremist Israeli minister “Ben Jvir” leads settlers storming Al-Aqsa Mosque
Today, Sunday, the hard-line Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, invaded the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque. This step is expected to anger the Palestinians and cause unrest in occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank.
Sources in Jerusalem stated that dozens of settlers entered Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Mughrabi Gate in succession, made provocative tours in its courtyards, listened to explanations about the “alleged temple” and performed Talmudic rituals in the eastern area of the mosque and in front of the Dome of the Rock.
The Israeli occupation forces and special units were deployed in the courtyards of the mosque, where they took out the worshipers and secured the invasion corridor that Ben Gvir and the settlers carried out to reach Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The occupation police imposed strict security measures at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, imposed restrictions on the entry of young people into the mosque, checked the identities of the worshipers and detained them at the gates.
It is worth noting that Ben Gvir’s invasion of Al-Aqsa Mosque is the second since he assumed the position of Minister of National Security, as he arrived in the early morning hours to Al-Buraq Square.
