The Kingdom of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia revealed that it will start, on Saturday morning, to operate limited flights in one direction only, in order to help the citizens of Saudi Arabia and all residents to return again to their homeland.
In a related context, the Egyptian company "Egypt Air" last Friday returned about 596 Egyptians stranded in the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on two exceptional flights because of the suspension of flights to Egyptian airports in light of the spread of the Corona virus.
In this regard, according to sources in the Ministry of Civil Aviation in the Egyptian government, the first flight postponed 299 Egyptians from the city of Jeddah inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, while the second flight transported 297 Egyptians from the city of Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the two flights were received at Cairo Airport.
A source told Al-Nasr newspaper correspondent that all passengers coming from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were examined before they were transferred to the health isolation areas to spend a period of fourteen days of stone, in implementation of the decision of the Ministry of Health in Egypt regarding all Egyptian passengers stranded in all countries of the world.
On the other hand, these trips were organized within the flights of the air bridge approved by the government in Egypt through coordination between the Egyptian foreign ministries and the Egyptian and Saudi civil aviation and immigration in order to receive the stranded in all countries of the world.
Since the month of mid-March, the Saudi Ministry of Civil Aviation revealed that twenty-four exceptional flights are being conducted for the return of the Egyptians stranded in all countries of the world, in coordination with the Ministry of Immigration and Foreign Affairs, in light of the suspension of air traffic to airports in Egypt, due to fear of the spread novel coronavirus.
The civil aviation authority in Egypt has revealed that the movement of civil aviation has stopped in the Egyptian territories, whether coming or leaving airports in Egypt since March 19, 2020.
The decision excluded only five cases of suspension, including air cargo flights and charter flights so that tourist groups could return again after the end of all programs without bringing in modern groups, international ambulance trips and domestic flights inside Egyptian territory.
