Anton Oil Company’s announcement of the cancellation of the memorandum of understanding is a resounding slap to the Houthi militia – Al-Nasr Newspaper
The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, stated that the Chinese government’s confirmation through the Chargé d’Affairs at its embassy in Yemen is not related to the rumors circulating about the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Houthi militia and Anton Oil Investment Company in Yemen.
He pointed out that the company’s announcement in an official statement of the cancellation of the memorandum of understanding, and its admission that it was a victim of misleading information, constitutes a strong blow to the militia.
Al-Eryani added, in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the Houthi militia is trying, through these lies, to achieve imaginary victories and mislead its members, and make them believe that it is an actual government in the areas it controls, while in fact it is just a terrorist militia that does not have popular support, and lives In internal and external isolation.
Al-Eryani praised the firm and supportive stance of the friendly People’s Republic of China in supporting the legitimate government and Yemen’s security, stability and territorial integrity.
Al-Eryani called on international companies not to fall victim to misinformation propagated by the terrorist Houthi militia, warning against any cooperation with it. It is a coup militia classified on the terrorist lists, and it does not have any constitutional authority to dispose of or exploit the country’s resources, and any cooperation with it is considered a crime subject to legal accountability.
