The Muscat Stock Exchange rose at the end of the trading session at the end of the week, and the general index of the market rose by 0.02%, to close at the level of 3539.46 points, winning 0.59 points.
The performance of the index today was supported by the services sector rising by 0.04%, with the National Life Insurance share leading the way today by 6.67%, and Urido rose 0.97% and Omantel 0.63%.
On the other hand, the financial sector index fell 0.32%; with the National Bank outperforming the auditors today by 4.58%, Oman and the UAE fell 4.44%.
The industrial sector index also fell 0.26%; the Oryx pressure of ceramics fell 3.7%, and Raysut Cement fell 2.56%.
Trading volume fell today to 10.26 million shares, compared to 12.51 million in the previous session, and the trading value decreased to 1.6 million riyals, compared to 1.76 million riyals in a session yesterday, Wednesday.
Shares of Madinah Takaful shares were the most active shares today, trading 3.8 million shares, while Raysut Cement made a value of 508.44 thousand riyals.
