They were referred to the Public Prosecution and then to the Misdemeanor Court, which decided to impose a fine of 5,000 dirhams on them and expel them from the country.
With regard to the case that took place in a police station, the Misdemeanor Court in Dubai decided to impose a fine of 10,000 dirhams on an individual of Arab nationality after it was proven that he possessed a narcotic substance and confirmed that he had used it after his arrest. According to the details of the case, the accused was arrested in the vicinity of a police station in Dubai and was in an abnormal state, as he was stuttering in his words.
He was detained in the center and the necessary legal measures were taken. During the search, seven medical needles containing an unknown substance were found in his possession, in addition to a drop hidden in his left leg under the pants he was wearing.

The side effects are like hallucinations, and the accused admitted to possessing these prohibited substances during the investigations.
In the second case, people were reported taking drugs inside a supermarket in Jebel Ali Industrial Area.
The whistleblower, who is a supervisor in the store, reported that there are employees using drugs inside the store, causing damage to the place. The police responded to the report and headed a patrol to the place after obtaining permission from the Public Prosecution. The accused were brought to the General Department of Forensic Evidence and Criminology, where they were taken. A sample of them for analysis and to determine whether it contained narcotic substances or not, and it was found that they were under the influence of a type of drug known as “amphetamines.”
During the investigations conducted by the police and the Public Prosecution, the defendants confessed to using the crystal drug and that they had obtained it from an African person, and after they appeared before the court, they again confessed to their crime and asked for mercy.
In the end, the court issued its verdict convicting them and imposing a fine of 5,000 dirhams on each of them, and decided to expel them from the country.
