In a very important step in order to avoid the occurrence of arson in the UAE, the General Directorate of Civil Defense in Dubai has developed the first effective firefighting program in the world.

In a related context, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai, said that the civil defense readiness program will be developed with innovative solutions based on the use of the latest technologies, and he praised it as a model. According to the General Directorate of Civil Defense, the smart program will be linked to government agencies and use artificial intelligence to analyze their data to identify areas likely to witness fires based on a huge database collected over a period of five years, and it relies on big data technology by prediction.

In this regard, he revealed in Haditha, saying that the program helps to identify the causes of fires in each region and sends text messages to the residents in the same region to educate them about the possible causes of fires and to avoid and prevent them before they occur. You said you could… in the context of preventative controls.

On the one hand, he added that the program had received international acclaim from many quarters, especially the National Fire Protection Association (an international non-profit organization), highlighting its effectiveness in preventive controls and its role in protecting lives and property.

The Director General of Civil Defense, Lieutenant-General Rashid Thani Al-Matrosi, received Captain Issa Ahmed Al-Mutawa, Project Manager of the Smart Program for Predicting Fire Accidents, for his role in providing innovation to the team.
