Dubai will host the 19th Critical Care Conference on May 12
In Dubai, an invitation to attend the 18th International Federation of Critical Care Nurses Conference and the 19th UAE Critical Care Conference, which will be held at the InterContinental Festival City Hotel in Dubai from 12 to 14 May 2023, has been announced. The conference will be celebrated under the auspices of the Hamdan Award for Medical Sciences.
This event highlights the latest developments in the field of artificial respiration and modern medicines, in addition to the latest research results in the field of critical patient care, as this event was attended by 33 associations out of 42 countries, in addition to more than 2,000 nurses and specialized doctors.

Dr. Hussein Nasser Al-Rahma, Consultant and Chairman of the Conference, stated that the aim of this event is to gather a group of doctors, specialists and researchers with experience in the field of intensive and critical care in the Middle East and the world, to exchange experiences and knowledge and discuss the latest developments and modern technologies in this field, in addition to keeping up with Global innovations and research.
The international conference that will be held in the next three days includes 244 speakers, including 100 international speakers and 64 regional speakers, in addition to 80 speakers from within the country. 255 lectures will be reviewed in 56 works, in addition to 4 workshops and 4 training courses. A number of specific agreements will be signed with a number of international bodies that will benefit all parties on the sidelines of the conference.
In addition, the conference enjoys the support and participation of other important conferences, namely: the 18th Congress of the World Federation of Critical Care Nurses (WFCCN), the 5th Emirates Nursing Association (ENA) Congress, the 5th World Congress of Emergency Medicine (GNEM), and the 4th Congress of the Regional Neurocare Meeting Neurocritical Care Society – East Central and North Africa Chapter (NCC/ENLS).
Today we are on a date with an important conference in the field of critical medicine, where scientific papers on the latest research and experiences in this field will be discussed. Abdullah bin Souqat, Executive Director of the Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences, stated that this conference follows the approach of the late Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum in supporting continuing medical education and serious medical conferences, especially those that benefit state doctors in particular and regional doctors.
Mr. Bin Souqat stressed the importance of this conference, as the scientific papers that will be discussed are a summary of the latest research and experiences reached by doctors who specialize in caring for patients in need of critical care and accidents, which they can exchange with the attendees and benefit from, and discuss best practices and treatment protocols that they use in light of Corona pandemic.
Mr. Bin Souqat added that the Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award will continue to work to achieve the goals and aspirations set by the late Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid since its launch in 1999, and will continue to support medical conferences and the medical education process, in order to enhance the expertise of doctors and specialists and develop their levels of patient service.
32 international companies specializing in intensive care devices and ventilators will participate in the conference, where the latest products and devices related to critical care medicine will be presented.
