Thunderstorms in most regions of Saudi Arabia will continue for days … and the “Civil Defense” warns
The General Directorate of Civil Defense called for caution and caution due to the continued thunderstorms in most regions of the Kingdom, starting from Friday until next Tuesday.
The Civil Defense emphasized the need to stay in safe places during the rainy period, to stay away from places where torrential rains, swamps and valleys gather, and to avoid swimming in them, as they are unsuitable and dangerous places.
The Directorate also called on everyone to abide by the instructions that are published through various media and social networking sites.
The Directorate stated that the Makkah region will be affected by medium to heavy rains that may cause torrential rains, hail, and active dusty winds, including Taif, Maysan, Adham, Al-Khurma, Al-Ardiyat, Turbah, Rania, Al-Mawiyah and Qiya. The regions of Asir, Al-Baha, Jazan, Tabuk, Al-Jawf and the northern borders will also be affected.
The Directorate expected moderate rains in general and active winds that stir dust and dust in the Riyadh region, including the capital, Riyadh, Afif, Dawadmi, Al-Quwaiyah, Al-Majma’a, Al-Zulfi, Al-Ghat, Ramah, Thadiq, Shaqra, Al-Muzahimiyah, Al-Diriyah, Dhurma, Huraymila, Al-Aflaj, Wadi Al-Dawasir, Al-Sulayl, Layla, Al-Kharj, Hotat Bani Tamim, Al-Hariq, Al-Bajadia and Al-Dalam.
The General Directorate of Civil Defense indicated that the Makkah region was also affected, including Medina, the holy capital, Jumum, Bahra and Al-Kamil, in addition to the regions of Al-Qassim, Hail and Najran.
