The security authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced the start of implementing the instructions issued by the government regarding the ban on entering Makkah Al-Mukarramah without a special permit, in preparation for the Hajj season.

Implementation of the instructions organizing Hajj

Directives were issued by the Public Security Agency stating that the implementation of the instructions for organizing the Hajj season will start from Monday.

According to these instructions, residents wishing to enter Makkah Al-Mukarramah must obtain a permit from the competent authorities. Residents who do not have an entry permit will be denied access to the security control centers leading to Makkah Al-Mukarramah.

The Saudi General Security published a statement on its official Twitter account regarding the implementation of the instructions organizing the Hajj season. The statement indicated the need for residents wishing to enter Makkah Al-Mukarramah to obtain a permit from the competent authorities, in implementation of the instructions regulating the Hajj season, as of Monday, 10/25/1444 AH. Residents who do not have an entry permit will be denied access to the security control centers leading to Makkah Al-Mukarramah.

And the instructions regulating Hajj this year 1444 AH will be applied, which oblige the return of vehicles and residents to where they came from, unless they have an entry permit to work in the holy sites issued by the competent authority, or a resident’s identity issued from Makkah Al-Mukarramah, or an Umrah permit, or a Hajj permit.
