Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development: Starting a vocational examination in Bangladesh to verify the skills of workers in the Kingdom
The Ministry of Human Resources in the Kingdom and Social Development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia officially announced this morning the start of the vocational examination to verify the skills of workers in the Kingdom.
In a related context, the Professional Accreditation Program launched the Professional Examinations Program in Bangladesh yesterday, Wednesday, as part of the plan of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development to activate the multilateral program in the first phase abroad.
In this regard, last month, the ministry launched a program to test the qualifications of workers in vocational training in the provinces of Pakistan and India.
With the aim of improving the quality of the work of professionals, this program provides workers with 5 specializations: “plumbing, electricity, auto electrics, welding, refrigeration and air conditioning” among the 23 specializations chosen by the Ministry regarding skills. It provides professionalism, enhances productivity and discourages the influx of unskilled professional workers into the labor market in the Kingdom.
According to the program, the path for professional workers to obtain a vocational exam certificate is to register on the vocational examination portal, register for theoretical and practical exams, and verify the data by the test monitors at the center. A certificate is issued before taking the exam and after passing the assessment phase, Bangladesh, allowing the requirement in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regulations.
In particular, the vocational testing program is one of the programs and initiatives of the Ministry of Human Resources in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which aims to develop the skills of the workforce and increase efficiency in line with international standards and the Saudi labor market..strategy.
