Liverpool’s German coach, Jurgen Klopp, praised Roberto Firmino, the red team’s striker, after rumors about his possible departure at the end of the current season.

Klopp spoke at the press conference about a muscle injury that Firmino suffered and will keep him out of action for some time, and he expressed his wishes that the player would recover as soon as possible and return to participating in matches.

Klopp added: “I expect Firmino to participate in some matches with us this season, and it is very important for our team that he is available at the right time.”

As for Firmino’s replacement, Klopp pointed to 23-year-old Cody Jacobo, who can play in attacking positions or on the flanks, emphasizing that he is not Firmino and that he needs to work on developing his own style.

Klopp concluded his speech by saying, “I am sure that Jacobo can achieve a lot for our team in the future, and we will work to support and motivate him to achieve this.”
